Highly modular and user friendly, the RAMCHECK redefines the capabilities of an affordable and portable memory tester. The newly designed 184-MHz test engine and scaleable data interface provides faster tests and gives you a higher resolution of timing measurements. RAMCHECK's architecture has been optimized to better support the memory devices of today and tomorrow. With the technology built into the RAMCHECK memory tester, it has become the core foundation from which we have been able to develop several platforms of memory tester adapters.  RAMCHECK with its four expansion sockets is a highly expandable and modular tester.  We are continuously developing more optional adapters to support future memory technologies.

We can test 184-pin DDR1 memory modules up to 466MHz and now our latest development is an adapter to test 240-pin DDR2 memory modules. Other optional RAMCHECK adapters support numerous types of memory devices, including 144 & 200-pin SO DIMMs for Laptops, older 72-pin SIMMs, individual chips, and more.

The Ramcheck base memory tester combined with different adapters have become several of our main products.  The RAMCHECK DDR1 (INN-8668DDR-PRO) is the Ramcheck Base tester (INN-8668) combined with the RAMCHECK PRO 184-pin DDR1 adapter (INN-8668-9) less the SDRAM support.  The RAMCHECK DDR1 Plus (INN-8668PL-PRO) tests DDR1 and SDRAM DIMM memory modules.

Our latest development is the DDR2 adapter which when combined with the RAMCHECK base unit becomes the RAMCHECK DDR2 (without SDRAM support).   If you need to test both DDR1 and DDR2 we have a solution for that as well. This is the RAMCHECK DDR2 (INN-8668-DDR2) and the RAMCHECK DDR PRO adapter (INN-8668-9) and is called the RAMCHECK DDR2/1 Bundle (INN-8668-DDR2/1 BUN)

By using the enhanced proprietary algorithms of RAMCHECK to run a thorough test by testing every cell in today's and tomorrows memory modules. To yield a faster test, all chips are tested simultaneously to enable the tester to detect errors that are caused by interference among the chips on the module.

RAMCHECK is much more than a PASS/FAIL tester. In fact, it specifically identifies the faulty bits within a defective module and gives pin number relating to the problem chip. While 100% accuracy in memory testing is technically impossible, RAMCHECK achieves a high degree of accuracy in detecting bad memory devices.

The RAMCHECK is usually used by itself or it can be hooked to a PC via a serial cable  and the PC Communication software that comes with the tester will allow it to print and log test reports.  RAMCHECK can easily be upgraded and expanded to protect your investment. This goal was achieved using modern FLASH EPROM technology and a PC Windows companion program. The software also allows the memory tester to update its firmware via the Internet.

A single button starts the fast BASIC test which automatically measures and displays the module Type, Size, Mode, Access Frequency, Cycle Time measurement and more. The BASIC test verifies that all memory cells are sound and checks the wiring of the modules. The EXTENSIVE test automatically follows with Voltage Bounce and Cycling that tests and verify the module performance under varying voltage conditions. The March Up/Down algorithm detects interference among cells. Various tests like Relative Refresh and Relative Spikes provide detailed insight into the quality of the tested module. The AUTO-LOOP test provides the perfect burn-in means for your memory modules, as well as additional pattern testing. Our proprietary Chip-Heat mode automatically warms the chips for temperature related speed measurement at the end of EXTENSIVE test. RAMCHECK incorporates additional setup capabilities to satisfy the needs of even the most advanced and demanding engineers.
